Based in Singapore, Boon Chew is a safety consultant with more than 15 years of experience. He specializes in the “people’ aspects of safety such as enhancing decision making, changing behaviours and mindset, and building engagement.  His mission is to assist industry get their “people” component in place when preparing a safety case, changing a culture or building engagement.

Boon Chew has a MSc in Safety, Health and Environmental Technology, and a Professional Diploma in Behaviour Psychology. Before starting up his own company, Boon Chew was the Regional Head of EHS for Tyco Fire and Security and the EHS head of a chemical plant for BASF.

Boon Chew is passionate in his work. He enjoys sharing his knowledge through writing for the SISO magazine and speaking in conferences both locally and overseas. As a keynote speaker, he has received frequent compliments from clients and audiences alike:
